Packing For Small Trips

By Francis Mitchell

Arrived at your hotel and started the unpacking and then started to scream as you then realise you have left a number of items that you can't live without back home. We have all been there and now have the tee shirt. How do you solve your problem? By these few simple steps.

What happens when you arrive at your hotel only to find out you have forgotten your wallet or purse or worse still your business proposal. What would you do then? Would you have time to rewrite your proposal or business plan. This is always annoying when this happens as most of the time you do have a hard copy with you as this may be back in your office with no way available over the weekend until Monday.

Write out a packing list for your business trips and family trips. Business trips require business suits, documents, etc. Family trips will include pool wear, hiking or city clothes depending on type of holiday. Both have things in common like toiletries, books, music, clock alarm for early morning rises and shoes. Try packing a suitcase each with the things in common and work out the way to accommodate what type of holiday you are booked on.

Having some items already packed for your trip will save you money and also time in searching around the shops for your essential beauty products. A tip from the professionals is to pack light and few similar to small samples where you can easily throw them away like your hair , skin , teeth products which can easily be packed into your soap bag. Also remember the limit on liquids that are allowed on the plane with you.

Last but not least, travel wallets with all your documents inside. Keep all your important documents in one place as this means you are less likely to forget anything. By keeping all your documents in the one place you are more likely to remember to check on them before you travel by checking them on a regular basis would mean you are more likely to have an up to date passport or E111 card for your medical emergencies.
