It should measure anything from 35 feet to 40 to be spacious enough to accommodate all your equipment.

Bahamas and bone fishing are synonymous. This type of fish is known for its breathtaking speed which is definitely a challenge in catching it. Reef or bottom fishing requires you to catch fish from the reefs. Bahamas has amazing reefs among them the third largest on the world. When catching fish at the reefs, the boat will have to be positioned on the sand in front or alongside the reef. You can choose to anchor or to drift.

When you drift, it is to make an effort to cover the reef entirely. Anchoring on the other hand is an opportunity to catch fish present in the bottom of the reef and not over. Remember to use gear that works best in catching fish from reefs. For example, the rod needs to be stout to support the large fish. If you are a beginner, it would be best to avoid the reefs.

When it is fatigued, the fighting becomes less vigorous and then you can reel it in.
